How to read Accepted's requirements and dates
Accepted's catalogue holds programme requirements and application deadlines. Where recorded, the information behind a deadline includes its source, when it was checked and the application cycle it describes. A source record helps explain a date; it does not guarantee that the date is correct.
Read the date's status
A note beside a programme application deadline explains the information Accepted holds about it. A projected date is unconfirmed for the cycle shown; other notes can identify an earlier-cycle check or missing source information. The full definitions are in Why some dates say "projected".
IB totals and subject requirements are compared only when their reviewed source applies to the current programme, exact requirement and entry cohort. Unsupported records and unassessed material conditions remain neutral; that does not mean a requirement is absent, met or failed. A supported total comparison remains usable when a separate subject condition is unassessed. Independent subject and language facts remain visible. The fit score can still order results whose academic fit was not assessed; it is not an admission verdict.
On programme application deadlines, a verified date has no cautionary note. Other dates, including admissions-test dates, can appear without these notes, so absence of a note is not a general guarantee.
A deadline that isn't confirmed for the entry year on screen is shown in grey, not in bold. When it was read before this cycle opened, the note says so and gives the check date, for example "Not confirmed for 2027 entry. Last checked 31 Mar 2026."
Know what an assessment can tell you
Matching uses your profile and the programme information Accepted holds. A-level assessments depend on a recorded A-level requirement; an International Baccalaureate (IB) requirement does not stand in for one. Grade fit not assessed means Accepted cannot make the comparison, not that you qualify or are out of reach. A match score is not a promise of admission. More: What match score and admission likelihood mean.
Missing information is not a negative answer: an unknown portfolio requirement does not mean no portfolio is required, and an unknown tuition fee does not mean zero tuition.
Check the original information
Programme details show an application-page link and a last-verified date when recorded. The date belongs to the programme record; it is not a separate check date for every fact. Before relying on a requirement or deadline, check the institution's own page and discuss uncertainties with your counsellor.
Found a discrepancy? The Contact form is a place to share the programme, the information that differs and the institution's source link.
